Nawaeb, Morobe: During the Open Defecation Free status declaration ceremony of Narumbeng, Morobe Provincial Health Officer Alphonse Mirere stated that the EU-funded WASH project considered the well-being of children the most and that parents needed to train their children well to use the toilet. “If parents have toilets and use it rightly, you are teaching your child proper sanitation behavior and he or she will live with it for the rest of his or her life.”
