Nawaeb, Morobe: Marambi village in the Nabak LLG, declared itself Open Defecation Free on 03rd December 2019. Men, women and children of Marambi were very grateful to the EU, UNICEF and World Vision for helping their community of 33 plus households, build their toilets. Zumbuna Gina, Morobe Provincial Health Inspector, stated that the declaration was very pleasing to witness and be a part of and thanked the EU, UNICEF and World Vision for the initiative to pilot such a project in Nawaeb.
