Nawaeb, Morobe: Unlike other villages, Tikelenge of Labuta LLG in Nawaeb District, have been constructing raised pit toilets on high ground. Since Tikelenge is near the beach, water comes in easily; even in a one-meter deep pit. However, the community themselves identified the solution and have come up with the idea of building raised pit toilets instead.
